today we used our computers to try and find other sources that would tell us what information is right, the book or the power point. we found out from different and reliable sources that the book was correct and the power point was wrong. we then started talking about our president in the past and present handled or are handling immigrants wanting asylum in our country.

Today we talked more about migration and we got a packet that was from the book and highlighted things that we already knew. we figured out that the power point and the book are made from the same people and we compared things from the power point and the book. we found some things that were off by a lot.

today we started talking about migration. we talked about the key ideas and went through some of the power point. some things like, ravenstiens law for the distance that migrants typically move

- most relocate with the same country
- long distance migrants to other countries head for major centers of economic activity

quiz

today we took the quiz on the video we watched yesterday. I thought it was easy except for one question I wasnt sure about but I think I got it right. It was a question telling me things about a country and i had to tell what stage the country was in. It was a short and easy quiz and i hope i get an A on it.

today we watched a video and took notes on it. tomorrow we will take a test on the stuff in the video. The stuff in the video was groundbreaking information when it came out back then. Hans made a graph that showed what stage a country was in.

Today we took the test and i feel like i did a pretty good job on it. I liked drawing at the end instead of doing any other work. I feel like my drawing was okay but im not very good at drawing.

world factbook

Today we talked about the first 15 questions of the test that we will be taking tomorrow morning. We get to use the world factbook to answer the questions about population and fertility rate and other things like that. We practiced getting around on the website fast because we will only have 15 minuets for the first part on our test.
