in class we listened to more of the podcast and it talked more about migration and persecution. It said that most people are coming to the United States because they are in very bad situations like abusive households and living near gangs. In 1951 Jews sailed in a ship to the US seeking asylum but we wouldn't let them in. They went all the way down the East coast and ended up having to go back to Germany and ended up dying from the holocaust. we also talked about how trump is limiting how many people can come into the United States.
