Christianity-
There are around 2.2 billion adherents to Christianity and they call themselves Christians. They are found in Europe, the Americas, and Southern Africa. There are many denominations but some major ones are The Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, and Protestants. Their founder is Jesus Christ and they are Abrahamic in origin. The Bible, especially the New Testament(Gospels), is their holy book. They believe that Jesus is both human and divine- the son of God.

Islam-
1.5 billion adherents to Islam call themselves Muslims and are located in Indonesia, the Middle East, and North Africa. There are two denominations, the Sonnis (75-90%) and the Shiites (10-20%). Their founder is Muhammad (570-632) and the Qur'an (koran) is their holy book. They are monotheistic and Abrahamic.

Hinduism-
The 1.1 billion adherents to Hinduism call themselves Hindus and can be found mostly in India and Nepal. The Vedas, their holy book, contains the eternal truths revealed to ancient sages; composed in verse form. They have no distinct founder or central figure and it is the oldest religion still around today. Their religion is more of a way of life than a religion and it is less strict than other religions.

Buddhism-
The 500 million to 1.5 billion adherents to Buddhism call themselves Buddhists and are mostly in southeast Asia, China, Nepal, and Japan. Their founder is Siddhartha Gautama. It has many denominations like, Tibetan, Zen, Theravada, and Amidst. They believe in the four noble truths which are, there is suffering, attachment to desire is the origin of suffering, there is a cessation of suffering, and the eight fold path will lead to the cessation of suffering.

Judaism-
The 14-18 million adherents call themselves Jews and are located in Israel (75.4%) and the US (1.7-2.6%). Their founder is Abraham and the Torah is their holy book. They are a monotheistic religion and the believe in the ten commandments. They also believe that God is one, and concerned with the actions of humankind, and the 13 principals of faith.
